AutoPore V Series

Analyzes powders or solid materials to determine size and volume distributions of open and interconnected pores and cracks.  Separate low-pressure manifold includes vacuum pump.  High-pressure manifold precisely controls pressures from ambient to 60,000 psia maximum.

Features of Analytical System:

 Concurrently analyze up to six samples in two HP and four LP stations.

 Eighteen available penetrometers to match different sample characteristics

 LP analysis from 0.2 to 50 psia - 400 to 3.6 mm equivalent pore size

 HP analysis to 60,000 psia or 0.0030 mm equivalent pore size

 Collects up to 2500 data points per analysis

 Performs equilibrated-step and continuous (scanning) pressure generation

 Choose equilibration based on elapsed time or rate of intrusion / extrusion

 Maximum Intrusion Volume Increment mode automatically detects porosity  and collects additional data points

 Measures mercury intrusion / extrusion volumes to less than 0.1 mL/g

 Built-in mercury / vapor safeguards for operator and environmental safety

 Use software to calibrate pressure system vs. external reference.  Does not require internal mechanical or electrical adjustments

 Enhanced evacuation control to prevent aspiration of fine powders
